1. Why publish my form in test?

Ermeo allows you to publish a form to a select group of field operators. This way, they can validate that the form is in accordance with field requirements, or report any tasks missing from the form. Once the test form is validated by your expert operators, it can be visible to all users.

2. How to publish my form in test?

After creating your form version, at the time of publication, a new option is available to you: "Publish in test", by selecting this option, you will have to choose one or more teams who will have access to this test form. You can thus classify all your expert operators in a “Form Testers” team.

💡
Note If the users of the Form Testers team do not have the right to see this document via access rights, they will still be able to see the Test version of the document if you make it accessible.

The members of the Form Testers team will thus be able to see the test version on their phone. All reports made with this Test version will be visible in the Interventions section of the platform. Test forms also allow you to modify database values.

Following field feedback, if the test version is validated, you can publish it as a standard form version. All you need to do is click on Publish for the Test version. A new version will then be "duplicated" and will be visible to all relevant users. By creating a new version number when publishing, you will thus be able to differentiate the reports made during the test period and the reports made in production.

For the same document, it is also possible to have a test version and a published version at the same time. This will allow your field operators to use both versions. At the start of the operation, they will then have to choose between the Test version and the published version.

💡
Note A document can have a maximum of one test version and one published version. You cannot have multiple test versions or multiple published versions.

If the Test version does not suit you, you must unpublish it. You can then publish another draft version as a test version.
