What is a document?

Tags

The first tab you'll find at the top of the left panel on the platform is the "Documents" tab.

There are three types of documents on Ermeo:

  • Forms
  • Templates
  • PDFs

Forms

Forms are at the heart of the Ermeo solution. You can create your forms from the "Documents" tab. These forms will be made up of components available in your editing studio. This allows you to transcribe your paper form into a digital one. Once the form is published, data can be filled in by an operator. By clicking on the name of a form, you can rename it.

Templates

Templates are form "templates" that can be included in other forms. If all your forms start with the same questions (e.g., operator details), you can create a template. Once created, this template can be inserted into your various forms. If a change is made in a template, that change will be reflected in all forms.

PDFs

You can directly integrate your PDFs into the Ermeo platform. These PDFs can then be used in your forms. For example, you can integrate user manuals to provide instructions to your operators.

Note: You can learn more in our explanatory article on roles.

  • To delete a document, a code authorization will be required (for security reasons). Once deleted, a document cannot be recovered.

  • Each document can be stored in a folder. You can rename it by clicking on the document's name.
