1. What is the Evaluation block?
The Evaluation block allows your operators to assign a rating to evaluate a resource.
The Evaluation block can be found within your editing studio, in the Tasks category.
A star rating system is used for the evaluation.
2. How to use an Evaluation block in my Ermeo form?
You can set a default value for your evaluation.
You can choose to prevent your operator from modifying this value. The value will then be displayed for informational purposes to your operator.
The number of stars can vary between 1 and 10. It is not possible to set more than 10 stars.
You can link an Evaluation block with an attribute of the Evaluation type. This attribute will be updated after each intervention.
The tag of the Evaluation block can be used in a custom report. The stars will not be displayed, but the number of stars will be transcribed in numeric form.
Context: Let's imagine a company conducting building inspections.
At the end of each intervention, the operator must assign a rating to qualify the condition of the building.
- This rating must be between 1 and 10.
- The default rating should be 5.
- The operator must be able to modify this default value.
- Drag and drop the Evaluation block into your form. Name it "What is the state of the inspection?".
- In the settings, enter 10 for the number of stars.
- In the default value, you can choose 5 stars.
- Check the option "Allow modification of the default value". The operator will then be able to modify this value.
