1. What is a job attribute?
Task attributes are used to characterize your tasks.
A task attribute is a piece of data that can be of any type (numbers, text, contact details).
One or more attributes can therefore characterise each task.
By default, Ermeo defines several task attributes for each task. These attributes are :
- the form associated with the task
- the main resource used during the intervention
- the user performing the task
- the intervention start date
- the end date of the task
- If the task has been planned, then the planning start and end dates are also attributes.
In addition to these attributes, there are the attributes that you define for your tasks**.
2. In practice, how do you characterize a job using attributes?
Setting the scene: The supervisor wants to geolocate an intervention. To do this, we need to create a Location type intervention attribute.
- Go to the ‘Tasks’ tab and click on ‘Attributes ’**.
- Click on ‘Create an attribute’, name your attribute Geolocation and then select GPS coordinates as the attribute type.
- Confirm the creation of your new attribute.
- Return to the ‘List of jobs’ tab and click on ‘Plan a job’.
- Fill in the details of your job (document, job name, resource and user). Then enter a planning start date and planning end date. Fill in the attributes too.
- Two boxes appear offering the option of filling in ‘Latitude’ and ‘Longitude’. Use a site that allows you to remember the GPS coordinates.
7. On the application, the intervention is now geolocated.
Notes
- Intervention attributes can be enriched either manually from the platform or by intervention. Job attributes are updated in the database once the job has been completed. If you wish to enable real-time updating of job attributes, please contact your account manager.
Pour aller plus loin
- Using a job import, it is also possible to associate attributes with jobs en masse.
- By importing interventions, you can characterize several interventions using attributes.
- Task attributes are also useful for optimizing the use of access rights.
