9.  Carrying out work offline

Operators may need to carry out interventions in locations where there is no internet connection or network (basements, tunnels…). Off-line mode is therefore important. The operator will be able to carry out his intervention despite the fact that he has no network on his phone.

10.1. The documents

From the mobile application, operators can access two types of document:

  • Forms, which are the digitised format of your paper service forms. They enable operators to collect data, raise alerts and view previously entered data.
  • PDFs are informative documents. Operators can access PDFs before or during their work.

10.2. Resources

A resource is an asset on which maintenance and operation work will be carried out. From the application, I can access the 360 view of a resource in order to access :

  • Planned work on the asset
  • Associated documents/procedures
  • Information collected
  • Work in progress on the resource
  • Completed tasks.

10.3. Interventions

Operators are guided through their operations. They fill in interactive forms, which evolve according to their answers. Interventions become relevant and the operational process is improved.

A report is generated automatically at the end of each intervention. Operators no longer waste time on time-consuming, repetitive tasks.

💡
Note Two operators can work on the same form at the same time. To avoid data being overwritten, the two operators should not be working on the same tasks on the same form.

11. Profile settings

In the ‘Other’ section of the application, you can access your profile.

11.1. Language and unit of measurement

For the language, you can choose between French and English.

For the units of measurement, you will see in the forms, you can choose between Kilometres and Miles.

As soon as you change the language or the unit of measurement, this choice will be saved in your profile.

11.2. Automatic scrolling

Automatic scrolling is a way of eliminating clicks within your forms.

Each time you complete a task, Ermeo will take you directly to the next task.

Automatic scrolling is automatically activated when you create your profile. You can deselect automatic scrolling when an operator fills in a form.
