Deactivation of recurring export

Deactivation of recurring export

Tags

Recurring exports (or automatic exports) allow you to update your BI dashboard data on a daily basis.

Concerning the deactivation rules, if some of your dashboards are not used regularly, this means that they don't need the associated recurring exports.

For this reason, after 30 days of inactivity, we deactivate the generation of these exports. To inform you if you have exports concerned, the creator of the recurring export will receive three emails:

  • 2 weeks before the deactivation
  • 1 week before the deactivation
  • 1 day after the deactivation. The export creator will be able to reactivate it if necessary

How to consult and understand the export(s) concerned?

  • Go to the “Imports/Exports” tab, then “Automatic exports” :

  • In your "Status" column, you can see whether the export has been deactivated, thanks to the "Deactivated" label in red
  • To understand the color code of last download dates :
    • If the date is orange, it means that the last activity date is approaching 30 days, and thus a potential deactivation.
    • If the date is in red, automatic downloading has been deactivated. You'll also see that it has been deactivated, with the label "Deactivated" in its "Status" column.
    • If the date is in gray, the export is in use and continues to be downloaded.

How to reactivate a deactivated recurring export ?

It is possible to reactivate an automatic export that has been deactivated :

  • Select the export you wish to reactivate
  • Click on the "Reactivate" icon
  • Confirm reactivation
