When you use the Automatic Selection widget or the Manual Selection widget, the selected resources are displayed in a certain order. It is possible to choose the sorting criteria. These criteria can relate to the name of the resource or an attribute of type number. The attribute must be associated with the database from which the devices are selected.
1. Order by name
By choosing this option, you allow the sort of resources by their names. If ascending is checked, then the resources will be displayed in alphabetical order.
If descending is checked, then the resources will be displayed in reverse order.
2. Order by number
By choosing this option, you allow the sort of resources using attribute values. This sort can only be done on attributes of type Number. The resources will then be displayed in ascending or descending order.
