1. What is the purpose of a custom view?
Ermeo lets you create custom views. These views allow you to filter the information you wish to display in the databases. These views can be shared with different Ermeo users.
To create a custom view, simply:.
a. Log on to the Ermeo platform and click on the "Custom views" drop-down list.
b. Click on "Create a new view"
c. Choose a name for the view. You must also choose a database.
d. By clicking on Filter, you can filter on one or more databases. You can also use resource attributes to create more complex filters (using conditions and/or). In our case, we will use the filter based on the name of the database and the creation date of the resources in question.
e. A second button allows you to select the columns you wish to display in your view. Once selected, you can choose the order in which the columns are displayed using the icon represented by three small lines to the right of each column name. It is not possible to select more than 100 columns.
f. By clicking on the Share button, you can choose which users can use your view. A maximum of 50 users will be able to share this view. Once you have made your changes, you can save your view.
- Only the creator of the custom view can access the custom frames tab.
- If you delete a custom view, it will be deleted for all users.
