Create a dashboard custom view

Tags

A dashboard is a graph used to display various data. Ermeo gives you the option of creating your own graphs to track the evolution of your assets using some external tools, Powerbi for example.

In an easy and centralized way, you can share the data created on an external tool in ermeo.

The "external page" view will allow administrators to add custom links in the platform in order to integrate other solutions into Ermeo (such as Power BI, Tableau, etc.).

This feature gives you two options:
  • Link: Enter a link directly to this section.
  • Table: Enter tags (code) provided by the Table tool.

Here's an example:

We want to display our dashboard previously created on powerbi in ermeo.

a. First, retrieve the dashboard link from powerbi.

b. Secondly, copy the link generated by powerbi.

c. Go to the ermeo platform, then click on "create a custom view".

d. Choose the "External page" option, then paste the link retrieved in the previous steps.

e. Log in with your powerbi login.

Once connected, your powerbi dashboard will be displayed in this view.

💡
Notes In order for the content of "the external page" to be visible to users it is essential to:
  • Ensure, on PowerBI or Tableau, that users have access to the dashboard (configuration to be done on the external tool).
  • On ermeo, share the personalised view with the users to whom you wish to give access.
💡
To go further If you would like to integrate tools other than powerbi and Tableau, don't hesitate to share your request on our ermeo Ideas Portal. The product team will then be able to study your needs and carry out a technical feasibility study on the subject.
