Assign a database to assets

It is now compulsory to assign a database to resources. This allows you to obtain a coherent and global data structure in order to make the most of your data.

1. What happens to my resources without databases?

With the change of design from ‘Family’ to ‘Database’, all resources that do not have databases assigned to them will not be lost! These resources will be available from the ‘Resources’ tab using the following filter: **Databases is no database’.

1.1. How do I assign a database to a resource?

From the list of resources

  1. From the ‘Resources’ tab in the Databases section, filter your resources that have no databases (using the filter; Databases is no database). To sort more finely, don't hesitate to add conditions.
  2. Select the resources to be moved.
  3. Click on the ‘Move to another database’ action above the table.

  3. From the Excel file, paste the code of the database to be assigned into the ‘Database’ column.
